Findlay Bottle Show News Update - Show is Sunday Oct. 16 2011

Wow! Only one month left until our Findlay Bottle Show!

Mark your calendars now for Sunday October 16, 2011.

This year, for the first time in our 35 year history, we are having Early Bird Admission on Sunday morning, from 7-9am. Get first pick when the dealers are setting up - it's just $10 - with free donuts and coffee while they last!

There are several dealers who do NOT set up on Saturday, so that we can use their sales tables for our dining tables, and the outside dealers don't set up until Sunday either, so there will definitely be "fresh" merchandise for Sunday's Early Birds!

Saturday Oct. 15th is for dealers only, with our famous pot-luck dinner -- we serve yummy beef brisket and pulled pork BBQ, fried chicken, and enough side dishes and desserts to over-fill every tummy!

Special dealer-only-event this year: noted Findlay author Dr. Quentin Skrabec will be giving a talk about the history of the Ohio glass and bottle business, after dinner is served.

Sorry, no early bird adm. on Saturday. You must have a dealer contract.

Note: We have sold all of our dealer tables.

There are several open-showcases left. If you want to sell from one, call Fred asap, 419-424-0486. Plenty of outside spaces are available, weather permitting. Last year the day was lovely, and we had many outside dealers. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for this year.

Hope to see you all at the show for a great day of shopping, learning more about our collections, and the best part, visiting with good friends who "speak bottle-ese",
