The 2012 Findlay Bottle Show was GREAT!!
Saturday October 20, 2012 was dealer set up day, which is like a big reunion / club meeting / show'n'tell / swap and sell session, capped off with a feast of a dinner.Sunday October 21, 2012 started with Early Bird Shopping from 7-9am with coffee, donuts, and treasure hunting! At 9 we opened up to the public, and had a full building within moments. The happy crowd stayed with us all day, enjoying the friendly atmosphere, the beautiful weather, and LOTS OF BOTTLES!
A big THANK YOU to all who came, dealers and collectors.
We had a sell-out house. Show Chairman Fred Curtis did a masterful job, once again, of pulling together all the details that make a show. He deserves a round of applause.
And a big thanks, too, to all of our club members who worked so hard, and gave so much time.
We had 65 tables, plus a few showcases and outside dealers. We had just about 200 admissions. Seems like everyone had a good show, whether they sold well, bought well, or just had a great time visiting with fellow bottle collectors.
