Haunton has written and published the first volume of "Last Links to the Past - 20th Century South Jersey Glass," which is dedicated exclusively to glass made by the Clevengers, largest of the region's historic backyard glass-making businesses. The second volume is coming.The hefty hardback comprises 422 spectacular pages of history featuring 700 first-time-published color illustrations, and a first-published list of more than 1,000 pieces of Clevenger commemorative glass. Virtually everything displayed is from the author's personal collection.

"The Clevengers' glass has earned considerable notoriety among enthusiasts of early American glass for its ability to blur the boundaries of what a reproduction is supposed to look like," says Haunton, who resides in Wilmington, Mass. "Last Links is the first book to document the prodigious output of this small company."
