There is a festival in GAS CITY this Father's Day weekend, with GLASS BLOWING and FRUIT JAR MACHINE exhibits. Details here: http://www.boomtown1892.org/events.html


The Minnetrista Center in Muncie is currently running another fruit jar related exhibit called She CAN Make a Difference -- May 22–September 26.

It is about "women's historical contributions to family, community and our nation. The new exhibit, created by Minnetrista, explores the necessity of community gardening during war times and the response women provided for their families through home canning."
