Author of GLASS IN NORTHWEST OHIO to speak at Findlay Bottle Show Dealer-Dinner
The dealers arrive on Saturday to set up, and then enjoy a wonderful BBQ dinner. This year we have a guest coming to speak after the dealer-dinner: Noted author and bottle industry historian Dr. Quentin Skrabec.
Dr. Skrabec is a professor at Findlay University. He is the author of several bottle-related books, and has a wonderful talk planned for us.
Dr. Skrabec's books include biographies on the inventor of the Owens Bottle Machine, as well as the Mr.'s Heinz and Libbey, and a book on the glass industry of NW Ohio.
