Klingler and Dow Display Fruit Jar Collection at Lima Public Library

Jeff Klingler and Marianne Dow recently had a selection from their Antique Fruit Jar Collection on display in the front entry showcases at the Lima, Ohio Public Library.

They chose a representative grouping to show that there is a huge variety of jars that can be collected. They made sure to include an assortment of embossings, closures, and colors, as well as some educational materials, and items promoting the Findlay Antique Bottle Club.

The hope is that the display will have raised awareness of the Fruit Jars and the Antique Bottles collecting hobby, inspiring some new collectors, and maybe some new club members.

Marianne Dow will be giving a presentation on Antique Bottle Collecting at the library later this Fall. Watch for details.

Here are some pix of the display, but of course they looked better in person!
